The Dole Network utilizes one of the most advanced digital HD file sharing,
storage and live editing systems in the world. Implementing Apple Xservers,
RAID Media Storage and MacPro Final Cut Studio platforms, the end-to-end unitized
Work Flow is further enhanced with fully integrated Low Rez Browsing, Media Logging,
and Archiving with Partial Restore.
Work began in January of 2004 with Architectural Consultation and Building Infrastructure
Specification Development. It continued into 2005 with Detailed System Design and Equipment
Procurement.
In April 2006 system integration began. Utilizing TBC IntelliTrac consoles all of the
work areas and monitor walls can be easily reconfigured for future expansion or changes in personnel.
The full facility, along with Network Master Control and Satellite Earthstation was ready
for Production and Broadcasting in early 2007.
